Well, we can all dream, can’t we? For most of us, a package holiday means scrimping and saving for a year or so before trying to eke out the best deal available. But if you had the money, would you splash out on one of these? Here’s our guide to the most expensive package holidays in the world…

Ultimate Luxury Cruise

So what do you get for your £8,000 per day?

Each traveller will be picked up from their home by Sikorsky helicoptor and flown direct to an airport in London before tucking in to some Beluga Caviar which costs £4,000 per kilogram and supping on Da Hong Pao Tea harvested from one thousand year old plants – that’s over £2,000 per kilogram.

A Boeing Business Jet will privately charter the holidaymakers to the first leg of the trip in LA, whilst being fed a 10 course tasting menu by a Michelin Star chef. Then it’s time to board the Royal Suite of the Silver Whisper, an incredibly luxurious cruiser which will set off on its round world trip, before returning 115 days later.

Stay At The Abu Dhabi Emirates Palace Hotel

This week long trip is billed as a ‘once-in-a-lifetime experience’ and features a seven day stay at Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace Hotel.

You can expect a deep-sea fishing trip, guided tours, private jet travel and a chaffeur-driven Maybach car to escort you around for the duration.

The package holiday costs £500,000 and includes some extremely rare Robert Wang pearls, a selection of Holland and Holland sporting guns and some Emirates Palace Gold champagne thrown in for good measure. Just make sure you don’t spill it!

Anastasia Yacht Trip

Luxury charter company Camper & Nicholsons do a fine line in package holidays, although of course, it is doubtful they refer to them by that name! You can charter their Anastasia super-yacht for a week at a cost of just over £620,000.

The cruiser is 75 metres long and boasts 6.7m Zodiac RIB, a 6.7m Malibu wake boat, four 2-person waverunners, two Sea kayaks and sailboards. Windsurf, Wakeboards, Scuba diving equipment, fishing equipment.

It fits 12 travellers and has a crew of 20, so you can expect some exceptional service, whether hanging out in the saloon and cinema, being treated in the massage and medical rooms.
